The complete Beck's Festival Bar was annouced today, including some of the biggest artists from around the world. The artists are ecstatic to play for Sydneysiders at the iconic Hyde Park Barracks Museum this coming January.
Tickets to the Beck's Festival Bar are now on sale here. In addition to the artists already announced, there are five brand new shows to add to your summer wish list, including Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Mr. Scruff, Camille, Alice Russell and Uber Lingua.
Beck's Festival Bar is a hands-down favourite part of every Sydney Festival. The historic sandstone courtyard of the Hyde Park Barracks Museum will be transformed for three weeks this coming January into the hottest outdoor summer venue to hit Sydney, starting your 2009 with a bang!
A full 14 nights of funk, nu-disco, house, rock, electro, hip hop and Carioca Funk tunes has been planned, with local acts and international artists from Jamaica, France, Portugal, US,UK and more.
Some exciting highlights include French rap group Java, UK indie dance three-piece Metronomy, Camille, Four Tet, and Portugal's MC/DJ set Buraka Som Sistema.
